Here is your daily update on New York's progress with establishing no-fault divorce:

The bill has passed the Assembly.  Now, New York must wait for Governor David Paterson to sign the bill.  If he does so, New York will be the last state to grant a judgment of divorce without assigning fault to either party.  Instead, the moving party will advise the judge that the marriage had been "irretrievably broken" for at least six months.
